Mechanics, a historical activity at PDCi

The mechanical design phase takes shape with the choice of processes, materials and technical choices which will enable the functionalities expected of the product to be met. Mechanical engineering is a historical activity of PDCi, which was highly specialised in plastic injection when activity began in 1990. Today, engineers work on all materials (plastic, glass and metal) using all transformation processes, thus providing its expertise on all types of products.

The mechanical engineering department at PDCi Altyor Group boasts skills which allow it to support a project from the first idea through to industrial production, regardless of the manufacturing methods and processes.

Innovative equipment

The design office has developed strong skills in manufacturing processes and material choices which guarantee quality product industrialisation and compliance with the customer's expectations.

Designers select the CAD tools which are right for the customer's requirements. We adjust to the customer's software by using Pro/Engineer (Creo Parametric) or SolidWorks.

An extended scope of skills

The expertise of the mechanical engineering department covers consulting, the design, product development and industrialisation, including full management of the project in compliance with customer specifications. The functional prototyping phase is used to validateindustrial design choices and to concretely present the product to the customer.

High integration of the mechanical engineering department into other functions

The presence of mechanical engineering services, electronic engineering services and advanced skills in purchasing and industrial manufacturing offer the customer unique expertise for the integration of mechatronic products. PDCi guarantees confidentiality and a quick response time.
